1. Zero Telemetry by Default

Consoly does not track your cursor movements, application switching, or IDE activity. The only data transmitted to our servers are the final code evaluation requests necessary to score your daily challenge.

2. Data Collection

When you use the Consoly client to submit a challenge, we collect:

• Authentication Identifiers: Minimal OAuth profile details (e.g., GitHub username) to maintain your spot on the leaderboard.
• Submission Metadata: Timestamps, language tags, and the exact output you submitted to resolve a challenge.
• Error Logs: Generic backend runtime exceptions for debugging. IP addresses logs are rotated and purged every 7 days.

3. Data Usage

We use your data exclusively to:

• Determine streak continuity and compute global rankings.
• Detect botting or automated scraping attempts.
• Monitor server health.

We do not, and will never, sell your codebase snippets or challenge answers to third-party ML trainers or advertising brokers.

4. Transparency & Security

While Consoly is proprietary software, our client-server communication is strictly defined. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit and robust hashing schemes at rest. You can audit your own network traffic to verify that we only transmit the bare minimum necessary for gameplay.

5. Deletion & Modification

You can delete your account and all associated metrics instantly from the settings panel within the app. This action performs a hard cascade delete across our secure database clusters. Backups take an additional 14 days to purge completely.

If you lose access to the app, you can also request account deletion by contacting us directly (see section 8).

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party services for essential infrastructure:

• Supabase: For secure database hosting and authentication.
• OAuth Providers: If you sign in via GitHub, Apple, or Google, we only receive the data required to establish your account (email and identifier).

We do not use marketing trackers or third-party advertising SDKs.

7. Children's Privacy

Consoly is designed for professional developers and students. Our services are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
